What size storage units do you offer?
Our sizes range from 5×5 to 10×30 (approximate dimensions).
When can I access my storage unit?
5am-10pm daily access (365 days per year)
24-hour access for parking customers
What are your office hours?
Monday-Friday: 9am-5pm
Saturday: Closed
Sunday: Closed
Does SouthSide Storage provide locks?
All new storage unit rentals come with a new heavy duty stainless steel Chateau disc locks with three keys and the manufacturer’s lifetime warranty. There is no charge for the lock and it is yours to keep.
Do you offer RV/boat/car parking?
SouthSide Storage offers outside uncovered parking as well as 10x20 and 10×22.5 units for indoor parking. We have spaces and units available with electricity for battery trickle charge.
Can I reserve a storage unit in advance?
Yes, and we recommend renting in advance to guarantee availability. Payment is required at time of reservation (prorated rent & admin fee).
Do you rent space month-to-month, or do I have to sign a long-term lease?
Leases are month-to-month. No long-term leases are required or offered.
Do I need to give notice when I'm ready to move out?
We ask that you give notice 5 days in advance and vacate by the last day of the month. The unit must be completely emptied of your belongings and your lock removed by the last day of the month to avoid further charges.
What do I do if I lose my keys?
For a fee, SouthSide Storage will cut the lock. Do not attempt to remove the lock yourself. No locksmiths allowed. Removal of locks by anyone other than SouthSide Storage staff constitutes breaking and entering.
Do you provide insurance for my stored goods?
No, however, we do offer a Tenant Protection Plan that can be added during online rental or by contacting the office.
What kind of documentation do I need to provide to rent a storage unit?
A valid driver’s license or identification card is accepted. Tenants must be at least 18 years of age.
Move out procedures:
1) Provide notice 5 days prior to vacating your space.
2) Vacate space by the end of the month to avoid further rent charges.
3) Remove all contents and broom sweep the floor.
4) Close the door and remove your lock.
